Spring Break

I had a pretty good spring break. I bought my prom dress on Saturday! Sunday and Monday, I visited FSU. It was beautiful! The guy that toured me through the dorms reminded me of my best friend. I am officially an FSU Seminole! I hung out with my friends, did some homework, and went out to eat... a lot. Saturday night, we rented a Humemr limo and went to South Beach for my sister's 15th birthday. It was very nice =) My parents bought my sister and I each our own Mac computer. I slept over Chelsea's house yesterday. I had a great spring break and I can't wait for my birthday on Wednesday and prom Thursday!

Favorite Bible Verse

My favorite Bible verse is our Senior Camp bible verse. It's I Corinthians 16:13-14 "Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith, be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love." This verse remidns me of how our Senior class grew toegther and got to know each other on a personal basis. It teaches me how I should grow to love and try to get to know God on a more personal basis just as I did with my fellow classmates. I remember this verse whenever I am with all my friends and I remember how to do everything towards them and towards God with love.

OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

This weekend was amazing! On Friday, I had a romantic dinner with Ileana at Friday's. We went on a quest looking for Lutz after, but we gave up and ended up sharing an ice cream at Coldstone. It was delicious! We saw Alice in Wonderland... AMAZING!!! Some guy was harrassing us to donate blood. I wanted to slap him across the face! I'm not even 18 yet! Saturday, I stayed home all day and did homework, and I watched "What Women Want," and "Twilight," for the third time this week. Yesterday, Edgar came over and we watched "Stepbrothers," while we packaged and labeled the March of Dimes bracelets. We went to see "Shutter Island," after, and then we went back to my house and hung and watched the Academy Awards with my best friend, Michael. It was a great weekend!!

How Have I Helped the Community?

Well, I have been volunteering at the Marian Center, a school for special needs children, every summer and spring break since the 7th grade. The kids are soooo cute. I fell in LOVE with this little boy named Amir who has Downsyndrom. I wish I could adopt him!!! During the summer, I assist them with their activities and I help feed the younger children. During Spring Break, they are in school so I help them with their letters, numbers, and colors. I have also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House a few times. I helped prepare and serve food for the residents and I sat down and spoke to some of the children. I am looking forward to this spring break!!!

I HAD AN AMAZING AND VERY PRODUCTIVE WEEKEND! On Friday, even though I was exhausted from going to sleep at 12:30 and waking up at 4:30, I went out to eat after school with Carolina and we went to her house after and watched "The Stepfather". It was really good!! Saturday, I went to the Art Show at Coconut Grove and later that day I went to dinner at Scrubbies and I went bowling with some of the girls from Bible Study. IT WAS SOO MUCH FUN! Sunday, I woke up early to do some homework and then I went to Lincoln Road with my boyfriend and my family. Monday I did A LOT of homework... -__- My weekend was amazing! =)

Dear Blog, Dear John was amazing!

Dear John, I don't care what anyone says, was so good!!!! I went on Friday to see it with my friends and we were all in tears! On Saturday, I held a March of Dimes meeting to make bracelets that we are going to sell with a dress down pass in march to help save babies! We have to make 500!! I babysat Saturday night, and Sunday, edgar and I went to see Toothfairy, which was pretty good, and we went to Starbucks and back to my house to watch the Superbowl after. My weekend was very relaxing =)

Long Time No Talk!

HELLO! I haven't posted anything in a while, so let me bring you up to date on what's been going on. Firstly, I ended up with a C on my report card... my first C EVER. Of course it was in Trig, but it's okay because I still received President's Honor Roll. 0:) This semester I have Precalc and Economics instead of Trig and Life Managment. I am really looking forward to this month! I'm not going to write what I did every weekend since then, but I'll tell you what I did this past weekend. On Friday I went to Shulas 2 Steakhouse with my boyfriend, and then he came over to watch my favorite movie, Zoolander. Saturday, I went to Lincoln Road with my family, and I hung out with Carolina that night. Lastly, Sunday I went over Peenie's house, and I spent the day with my grandparents and did homework. This Friday, my friends and I are going to see Dear John, and the following week, we are going to see Valentines Day for Chelsea's birthday. I am reading Dear John before we go see it. I am also reading A Walk to Remember (that movie makes me cry a river every time I see it), and The Notebook. For the Saturday before Valentines, I am going to hang out with Carolina and make it a girl's day, and on Valentines, Edgar and I are going to spend the whole day together. I don't know what he has planned for daytime, but at night we are going to the Nikki Beach Restaurant and Bar. Also, February 18 we are going to Premios Lo Nuestro! It's a Latin concert that he got us tickets for. February 20-21 is the Senior Camping Trip!!! I love February of this year! I will admit, it's very busy and hectic because of all the tests and quizzes, (I have 4 tests and quizzes tomorrow!) but it is going to be extremely fun!! I can't wait!!

Christmas Break is Over... -_-

I had a great time on my Christmas Break! We celebrated my youngest brother's birthday on the 23rd (it's on the 26th) with a family get together and we had a bounce house! (as usual). My boyfriend came to the party and gave me the most beautiful 14 K white-gold diamond heart-shaped earrings and a Burberry Brit perfume set. Unfortunately, one of them fell off while I was walking around Times Square in New York. Yes, I went to New York in the 20 degree weather. One night it was -19 degrees! It was freezing, but it was beautiful. It snowed twice. My family and I went out to eat at well-known restaurants every day, ice-skating at Rockefeller Center, to Top of the Rock where we saw a clear view of the whole city, Chinatown, shopping on Saks 5th Avenue, walking around Central Park, and to the Metropolitan Museum. On New Years Eve, we went to eat at Capital Grille and we stayed there for 3 horus. At 11:50, we went outside to see the ball drop and then we hurried back to the Kimberly Hotel and watched a little bit of the performances and went to sleep. We flew back on New Years Day and my boyfriend surprised me at my house... he got a brand new red, 2010 Mustang! We went out Saturday night, and Sunday I spent the day cleaning. This has been a great break! I can't wait till the next break!!

Christmas/New Year Plans =)

This Winter Break is going to be amazing! Besides having to complete a huge Biology project and a 1600 word Government essay, I am going to hang out with my best friends and my boyfriend. Friday I am going to a party with Edgar. Then, on Christmas day I leave to New York! I will be in Times Square when the big ball drops at midnight!! When I get back I'll let you all know how much fun it was!!

Weekend plans

Well, this weekend is going to be interesting. My grandpa's birthday is the same as my boyfriend's birthday -_- I really hate to pick my grandpa, but family comes first. Friday I might go to the Christmas Carol with Edgar, and then I'll spend the day with him on Saturday... his birthday. Saturday night I am going to dinner with my whole family for my grandpa's birthday. Sunday is yet to be determined. I will probably work on scholarship essays and catch up on homework. Hopefully it will be sunny because I need some color! Trigonometry is sucking the life out of me! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thanksgiving Break!

I am so happy we got such a long break and I'm looking forward to Christmas Break!! This weekend was very relaxing. I hung out with friends and cooked and ate... A LOT. I made home made mashed potatoes... MY FAVORITE! I also made homemade apple pie that was to die for! There is still turkey left over from Thanksgiving! Yesterday Edgar and I watched White Chicks... can you believe he had never seen it?! That's like a sin! Anyways, it was a lot of fun. We saw my best friend Peenie when we were walking... I missed her a lot. She had been in Tallahassee the whole break! We also saw Miguel and his mom & sister. I thank God everyday for all the blessings he has bestowed on my family and I. =)

Senior Lunch =)

Today the seniors get to dress down in jeans and a DCS senior shirt. We are going to step out to lunch from Lunch Period till 6th hour. I am most probably going with my friends to Casavana. I have tons to do when I get home before midnight because tonight is the New Moon midnight premiere!!!!! I'm so excited!! So, if I look dead tired tomorrow... you'll know why hehe! Bye bye!

Amazing Weekend =))

My weekend was fantastic! Friday, I went to the school play with Edgar... it was amazing! Everyone did so well! We went to dinner after. Saturday, I went to the Book Fair and then shopping at Bayside. That night, I went to Carmen's surprise party with Edgar. Keilly was waiting at my house while I got ready.... yeah, I took a while LOL. Finally, Sunday I did a lot of hw and then I went to church... by myself... bc no one in my family wanted to go -__- ruude! But I saw my best friend there, & he told me to sit with him & his family so I wasn't alone yayy. I had dinner, talked on the phone, watched That 70s Show while I ate ice cream, and I was off to sleep!

Ohh dear

So, I kind of fainted on Friday -_- but I'm feeling a LOT better. I've learned my lesson though! I'm eating breakfast and getting enough hours of sleep! Saturday I skipped my date because I was tired... Sunday I went to Miguel's house for a little while then I spent the rest of the day at Peenie's house... then I went home and hung out with my best friend's family... not with my best friend- unfortunately he was working. =/

Halloween Extra Long Weekend!

I am soooo very happy that we got 4 days off! Horror Nights was amazing! We left Thursday and got back on Friday early in the morning; I was exhausted, but I made sure to scream GOOD MORNING to Farmer buahahaha. Dracula was the best house, and in second place was Wolfman. I was too tired to do anything Friday, so I basically slept all day & I woke up around 4 to eat & then went back to sleep. Hahaha. Saturday, I went to the mall and got an outfit for the FBLA breakfast on Thursday, and then I hung out with my boyfriend. I dressed up as a racecar driver and he dressed up as a knight. My parents had a sushi samba at home with their friends. Sunday, I went to church, tried to do homework, and went to my cousin's house for her birthday. I woke up at 5:00AM to finish AP Biology work because I couldn't really concentrate at my cousin's house. This weekend was AWESOME!

10/26/09

This weekend was exhausting... I hung out with Edgar on Friday. Saturday, I took my ACT -_- and then I went to Pei Wei with Carolina, Rebekah, and Christian. Caro & I ran errands after, and then I did some homework and we went to Outback and had the biggest dinner! Sunday I did Carolina's mom's hair... it took forever... she has so much hair!!! My family came back home around 4 and I finished off my homework, and that was my weekend. I can't wait for Horror Nights on Thursday!!

Homecoming Weekend =)

This weekend was great! Friday, Carolina went home with me and we got ready at both ofour houses for Homecoming which was a lot of fun even though we lost the game. I had a great time with Edgar & my friends. On Saturday I went over Carolina's house, and her mom took us to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays, and then we went to Michael's to buy something for her brother's project, nd to Halloween Express to buy Carolina's costume... she's going to be a cop! We went to my house after and babysat my brothers and Carolina's brother because the rest of my family was out in Fort Lauderdale for my sister's homecoming. Sunday, I literally spent half of the day outside. The weather was beautiful! I ran 4 miles!! I kidnapped Miguel and we went walking, played football, basketball, and ping pong and went to one of my best friend's house, Peenie, and played there also. I went home and babysat again after that. Finally, yesterday I woke up early to do homework ad watch my little brother, Nicholas, because my parents had work and he didn't have school. My mom took us to get the Swine Flu shot... Nicholas has the HIGHEST risk out of everyone to get it. My brother and I went to the movies for Carolina's brother's birthday to see Toy Story 3-D... we left halfway to see Paranormal Activity with Edgar... there were only 2 scary parts but Carolina was still freaking out HAHA We went to her house after to cut a cake, and I ironed her hair, we did her brother's project, and then I ironed my hair, and she drove us home.... THE END!

Weekend 10/09/09

Hmm, what am I doing this weekend? Well, I am going to rest today because tomorrow I have an SAT... Honestly, I know I'm going to do better on my ACT but I might as well take SAT just in case. After my SAT, I am going to the mall, then I have a ton of homework. Sunday, I am going to church, and my friend, Chelsea, is coming over so we can work on our Trig project. Then Michael and his family are coming over... hopefully they leave early so I can sleep... hahaha =)
